Capstone Characters is a puppet ministry started by Jill Larson in 1994 in Detroit Lakes, MN. Although Capstone Characters comes to us from Omro, WI, Jill was born and raised in Nekoosa.
Since 1994, she has been the Puppet Ministry Director for two churches: First, at the Christian Missionary Alliance church in Detoit Lakes, MN (’94 to ’96) and is currently the Puppet Ministry Director at Community Church in Oshkosh, WI.
Capstone Characters is interested in educating and entertaining kids – both small AND big . Jill & her friends have performed outside the church, too – County fairs & Breakfast with Santa, and many shows on kids safety at the public schools in Oshkosh. Capstone has performed for company Christmas parties and even had their own tv show on Oshkosh’s Cable Access Television Channel 10.
Jill is excited to be performing in Nekoosa at the festival – and hopes to come back again next year.
